   MODULE ELECTRONICS NAVIGATOR-1: SENSOR AND ENCODER OF TELESCOPE POSITION
NAVIGATOR-1 is the first ready modulus which is able of independent function, that is available to amateur astronomer.
Modulus is able to co-operate with PC or PDA PSION.

   FUNCTION OF THE MODULUS IMPLIES ALREADY HIS TITLE: NAVIGATOR-1 
by the help of couple incremental sensors S2 or DSC1 on axes Ra and Dec of telescope (or Alt - Az) sense position of draw-tube and indicate her to on map of the planetarium on screen PC SW "SkyCharts" author Patrick Chealley. Electronically defined position of the astronomical telescope essentially speeds orientation and guiding, it is left more time on sighting. From database in PC they are pumped full information about object, the watcher has data available quickly and promptly.

  THE DEVELOPMENT OF HW AND SW MODULUS NAVIGATOR-1

was successfuly fulfilled in summer 2001, further were fulfilled necessary mechanical adjustments of axes Dec on assembly G-300 and in the end practical test arrangement at night sighting. Results of the test in cooperation with programmes OURANOS and SKY CHARTS  v. 2.75 are excellent.

 

   INCREMENTAL SENSORS   extracted from mice PC
DSC1 is the prototype of sensor (temporarily in French only - I am sorry).
DSC  type DSC27 and DSC70 (temporarily in Czech only - I am sorry) were made and practically checked-out in the same period. Without a compromise in quality resulted a compensation for rotary inkremental sensors, which are unbearable expensive and that is why they are inaccessible. Step by step were checked-out variety manners of sensoring the position and placing DSC on assembly telescope DOBSON, how it is clear from photo documentation.
