COOPERATION – THE AUTHORS OF THE PROJECT

We think about the next steps at the putting the prototype of sensor and encoder electrinics module NAVIGATOR-1 to the practice. It will be the first step in the realization of the modular electronic driving system for the astronomical telescope. In our case HW and SW documentation is published on this WEB pages and it is available free for amateurs astronomers. It will be needed to pay the supplies of (paper) documentation, programming FEPROM MCU, production PC, CD and so on.

According to first receptions we expect interests in modulus NAVIGATOR-1 and NAVIGATOR-2 for its original and rational engineering solution.

We would like to intoduce you the authors of the project:
Jan GRECNER -  construction of the modulus NAVIGATOR-1, NAVIGATOR-2, construction of IRC-M, conception of electronic driving system
Ludek KEJZLAR - programmer of ATMEL MCUs in module NAVIGATOR-1, NAVIGATOR-2
Venceslas GRIM - mechanical parts of telescope
Jiri LEV -  adjustmentof the axes Dec assembly type GS-300
Paul PITHARD - the drive of the telescope

SKY CHARTS v. 2.75 whose author is Patrick Chevalley, was used as a executive supervisory program for modulus NAVIGATOR-1 and NAVIGATOR-2
The original version of this programme in English, French, Czech .. can be found and drawn down from http://www.astrosurf.com/astropc/

CONCLUSION

We consider the reached results of the development of the sensor position NAVIGATOR-1 and NAVIGATOR-2 for teh first part of our task. Next moduls will follow.
We are working intensively on the modul drive stepper and we have started to work on moduls database.

We believe, that our results will hepl you and that you will be able to use them. We are interested in your opinions, and suggestions. Without those backwards bindings it is difficult to continue. We would like to receive all your comments, topics and perhaps offers on participation or cooperation at solving the project. Thank you.
